This is a coachbuilding project based on the existing second-generation Honda NSX—but it is a venture that transcends the boundaries of mere customization. With official authorization from Honda, Italdesign has reinterpreted the history and philosophy of the NSX from the ground up. By handcrafting every exterior panel, Italdesign elevates the second-generation NSX to the pinnacle of modern “Coachbuilding” (bespoke body manufacturing).
It is the beginning of a narrative where the owner becomes “the final piece required to complete the legend.”
“Why Now?” — The Inevitable Intersection of Three Legacies
The year 2025/2026 marks 35 years since the birth of the original NSX in 1990, and 30 years since its glorious victory at the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans. Even decades after his passing, the “driving aesthetics” beloved by Ayrton Senna remain undiminished.
