1970 Porsche 911 S/T 2.3, ex-AAW Racing Team, fully documented and restored race car

Driver Björn Waldegaard and Leo Kinnunen

This 911 S/T was purchased new from Porsche in March 1970 by the AAW Racing Team. The team owner, Anti Aarnio Wihuri, comes from a family of Finnish industrialists. This 911 S/T has a complete vehicle history from 1970 to 2023.
The documentation includes invoices from the motorsport department, a Porsche certificate stating that this vehicle is included in the motorsport department, and all work in the racing department is documented. The preparation for the 1971 1000-mile race at the Nürburgring was also carried out at the Porsche factory.
There is a folder with many original photos from the time, including one from the 1971 1000-kilometer race at the Nürburgring featuring official Porsche drivers Björn Waldegaard and Leo Kinnunen.
This 911 S/T 2.3 L won the GTS Plateau 5 class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2022.
The vehicle has FIA HTP and road homologation, including a German registration document.
The Porsche factory introduced the 992 S/T, a particularly lightweight Heritage model, which is about 40 kg lighter than the 992 GT3. Many lightweight components were used, and only 1,963 992 S/Ts will leave the Porsche factory.
This is a tribute to the 1970 911 S/T, a particularly lightweight sports model that was used on circuits worldwide at the time, both on the track and in rallies, achieving great sporting success.

Restored by a worldwide Porsche specialist!

The vehicle has been completely restored, using some original parts.
