Year: 1953
Unique piece based on the 1953 FIAT 1100 E chassis and mechanics, delivered to Carrozzeria Vignale in Turin. In that period, the famous designer Giovanni Michelotti was an external consultant for Vignale and received the order to design a coupé bodywork for Maria Enrichetta “Marichetta” Stoppa, known for having been the protagonist of some films in the period 1937-1943 and later a dancer at the Theatre “La Scala” in Milan. From the genius and pencil of Michelotti, a masterpiece of style and design was born: typical stylistic features of the period with a strongly lowered roof that gives it a strong sporty accent and two rear fins that were very popular at the time, influenced by cars made in the USA. The two-tone color, blue and pastel grey, highlights the sporty and at the same time elegant style wanted by Michelotti.
